Description
The traditional "Kirwe" takes place every year on the last weekend in August in the centre of Zeiskam.
The small village with many half-timbered buildings cultivates its traditions.
The reigning Zeiskam Onion-Queen hands over her sceptre to her successor. With the election of the Onion-Princess, the royal legacy is secured for the next year. The characteristic sceptre as a sign of her dignity draws attention to the special importance of the onion as an agricultural product for the onion village. Here you can experience the charm of the Palatinate joy of live spiced with a good portion of hospitality.
