We rent out a stylishly designed and modernly furnished half-timbered house with 3 separate holiday apartments, accommodating a total of up to 16 people for relaxation and vacation, complete with private parking. You are right in the center of Kandel and can reach the town center and all important shops on foot. We are approximately 700 meters from the train station. Karlsruhe and the German Wine Gate are about 15 - 20 km away.

To ensure you feel at home, we have all the amenities ready for you. Start your day with a delicious NESPRESSO coffee or a warm tea in one of the three kitchens. The kitchens are fully equipped with a stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave with grill, NESPRESSO coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and everything you need to cook delicious meals. You'll also find plenty of coffee capsules, various types of tea, cooking oil, salt, pepper, and sugar in the kitchen. The dining tables in the kitchens are large enough for all guests of the apartment to sit comfortably together for meals, brunch, games, etc. The dining table in apartment 2 / 1st floor can be extended to 3.00 x 1.10 m, ensuring that all guests have a place at the table.

To ensure your sleep is first-class, each of the 3 bedrooms is equipped with a large King-size bed (1.80 m x 2.00 m) and 2 other bedrooms with a cozy Queen-size bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m). Each of the 3 living rooms has a comfortable sofa bed (2x 1.40 m x 2.00 m, 1x 1.80 m x 2.00 m) with a luxury topper or slatted frame with mattress available. We use hotel-standard bedding for all beds. The sleeping areas are equipped with soundproof blackout curtains, ensuring your night's rest is undisturbed. You'll find plenty of power outlets and USB charging options for your smartphone next to the nightstands. For your clothing, wardrobes and garment racks with wooden hangers and several compartments are provided.

In each apartment, a baby travel bed with a mattress is available for free use.

If you want to work, each apartment has a secretary/desk available. And of course, you can use our high-speed Wi-Fi free of charge.

In the 3 living rooms, you can make yourself comfortable and unwind in the evening in front of the 55" Samsung HD TVs with Netflix, Magenta TV, and RTL+.

Each apartment features a daylight bathroom with shower or bathtub, which has been newly renovated or partly renovated. There is also an additional daylight WC on the ground floor. Of course, we provide fresh towels and items such as toilet paper, soap, shampoo, body wash, and hairdryer.

If you have dirty laundry, you can wash and dry it in the washing machine and dryer. The necessary laundry detergents are available to you free of charge. You can also use the iron and ironing board to get your clothes wrinkle-free again.

In the courtyard, you can make yourself comfortable in the sitting area and reflect on the day over a glass of Palatinate wine.

We provide high-quality bed linen and towels.

You can also expect a welcome set with coffee and tea.

Free parking is available in the courtyard.

Check-in from 4 PM on the day of arrival / Check-out by 10 AM on the day of departure

Beer bench set is available for free use in the courtyard.

A grill that you bring yourself may be used in the courtyard.

On the way around the accommodation

The house is located in the middle of Kandel. The street mainly consists of residential buildings. Opposite is a traditional butcher shop with, among other things, regional specialties. All other shops for daily needs, as well as restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlors, and retail specialty stores are quickly reachable on foot. Kandel is situated in the middle of the Bienwald, a forest area of about 120 square kilometers. In Kandel, there are additional attractions, including a climbing park "Fun Forest Kandel" and a football golf park "Fußballgolfpark Südpfalz." If you prefer vibrant city life, Karlsruhe is just a "stone's throw" away, about 15 km distant, and always worth a visit, whether for shopping or sightseeing. France and the German Wine Gate in Schweigen-Rechtenbach are also very close (20 km) and worth a visit. About 45 km away is the Palatinate Forest (UNESCO World Heritage Site), where you can experience pure nature while hiking or cycling. Of course, there are many more beautiful destinations in and around Kandel, so we provide informational material for further recreational activities in your accommodation.
